Bodycote – the world’s industry leader in heat treatment – opened a new facility, located in Taicang City, Jiangsu Province, China near Shanghai.

The new plant is designed to offer a range of processes required for automotive and general industrial customers. These processes include Carburizing, Carbonitriding, Annealing, Normalizing and Neutral Hardening among others.

Taicang facility joins it's sister plant in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province which opened in 2014. Moreover, Bodycote operates three additional heat treatment plants in China, located in Jinan, Ningbo and Wuxi.
